August feels like summer, but brings with it back to school season (at least in my part of the world). Back to school is the official start of Autumn as far as I'm concerned. I get super excited when I see the array of office supplies begin to creep out on the shelves. August for me is also my small respite of summer break. I use this down time to plan out our after school program, schedule necessary training, and enjoy a few days of relaxation before the chaos of after school program begins.
August is one of the few months that doesn't house a "famous" holiday - there are no eggs to paint, no four leaf clovers to find, no presents to wrap, and no cards to mail. Since there are no major main stream holidays, I've gathered up a few lesser known celebrations to share for this month's Hello post.
